Nice MS66 Merc toner

I think I was finally able to capture the real color of this beauty. These are completely untouched pics of this 38 in an old NGC MS 66 slab. All the scratches are on this old slab.

You need to get rid of the overly RED tint iin the picture. The color temp of your light bulb is too high...try an OTT bulb or possible sunlight.

Pics taken with GE Reveal bulbs and 1 halogen bulb. This is a new lighting setup for me Jom. Color is real close to coin in hand, but if I had to say there was a color shift it would be slightly toward red, but not much. I will always accept tips on lighting for my coin pics so please feel free to offer any-Anyone.

  • Beautiful coin, but the image does look a little dark.....................I have the hardest time capturing toning myself so I am not one to judge image
