Would this 1883O Morgan be a VAM?

I recently joined a local coin club. During the meetings they raffle off Morgans. Last meeting I won three of them. One of them is an 1883O. I was looking at it with a magnifier and noticed something going on with the mint mark and also noticed some die cracks, the most prominent being one going through the OF in United States of America.

Attached are my best effort pictures of the mint mark and the die crack going through OF. The die crack actually extends past both of the letters but only the crack between the letters can be seen in the picture. The other die cracks are one going along the top of the word United, another one going from above the D in United through the tip of the left wing and then to above the S in states, and another one going through the A in dollar that then skims the top of the R in dollar and extends up to one of the leaves above the R. I can't find anything unusual going on on the Obverse. Could this be some sort of VAM variety? Thanks, in advance, for any replies.

Looks like a repunched mintmark to me.

I checked vamlink.com. Looks like a VAM 4, 1883-O/O

Looks like a VAM 3 to me, not a 4. A 4 will show doubling below the O at the left and right side. The 3 is all within the O on the right side. The 3 also shows a diagonal line which yours appears to have.

Too bad. The VAM 4 is a Top 100.

The other diagnostic is the date. If you want a more definitive answer, you should post a close up pic of the date.

Can't see much from your pics on the die cracks. I don't think they are significant, but I could be wrong.

fyi, there's a lot of doubled O's on the '83.
