I bought this coin tonight

This was more interesting to me than the average toned "end Roll" dollar. Can anyone tell me why?

  • I like that coin but the price was a tad more than I would have paid. It has some really pronounced textile as well as some vibrant blues...

Textile and end roll toning on the same Morgan is a rare combination.

    Braddick you are correct.

Big E you might be correct I actually was not looking for a vam but it might be there. Tell me where it is! Feel free to PM me.

This coin was pulled from a bag with the reverse toned with textile marks. It rested for years against the bag. It was then put into a roll later on and happened to be on the end where the paper folds and the exposure to the elements toned the other side! It must have sat for many years again!

Now it is free, well sort of.

I think the price was a steal!

    Thanks

I got this coin today and it is fantastic!! Tons of luster, at lease a gallon! Vibrant colors on obverse and textile toning bursts out at you on the reverse!!

The wheat leaves on headress have lines on them, is this common?
