Actually it does NOT look like the picture in the PCGS grading book. That picuture shows a coin that has concentric toning in a ring pattern as if caused by an album or other holder. The toning on the ebay coin, especially the puky pink (which seems to be common on AT coins), is more streaky and blotchy, popping up here and there on the coin. The yelllow covering the face also is quite different.
The coin seems to have high point rub that the toner has attempted to obscure in order to pass it off as MS.
Actually, whether that 1936 Proof that Russ posted is AT or not, it at least looks similar to a number of other naturally toned brilliant Proof 1936 and 1937 Buffaloes.
The 1915, on the other hand, does not look natural to me - I would bet heavily against it.
Proofs typically tone differently than business strikes do.
It's difficult to say from an image. If I had to guess, I would say AT. Also, the method of photography (including the coin stand) reminds me of a seller on eBay who is notorious for selling AT crap and cleaned garbage. Maybe that influenced my opinion. Hmmmm.
I would not buy raw from this seller. I have had previous correspondences from him about his return policy and I still don't know what exactly it is. Communicating with him gave me bad feelings. Bought an inexpensive slabbed Morgan from him and the transaction went smoothly.
I've looked at this sellers auctions, but I've never been tempted to bid. I do have a question about a few of his coins though. What do you hold this with as you rotate it in the flame (so as to not burn your fingers)? Ooops, looks like he may have burnt a finger on this one. And here is another Morgan that must have toned in the same "album" as the first one. Looks like he held them in the "album" a bit too long as they seem a bit over-done at the rim.
All the raw coins from this seller look strange. I have been tempted to bid on the slabbed coins, but the lack (or non-disclosure) of a return policy (as well as selling the cooked raw stuff) makes me uneasy about this seller.
Please forgive this stupid question, yep I am a newbie!!!!!What does AT and NT stand for? Tried the "PCGS lingo" document but could not find. Just catching up on this awsome hobby.

It kind of looks like the twin of the PCGS book example that turned out to be AT

I think that one is chemical. I have a very similar Morgan that was done with liver of sulphur.
