Home Sports Talk

We need a good ol' fashioned Buccanner's Suck thread since this board has pretty much gone baseball.

So I'll start, Bucanneer's were lucky to beat the Saint's last week, but there luck is running out this week. I don't even know who they're playing but I'm pretty sure they'll lose. Don't worry about the Saint's though, the Viking's will take them out no problem, they'll be wishing they were only playing the buc's and barely losing.

Moss will get his 2 touchdowns like clockwork, and our defense will suck again, but with our explosive offense, who cares?

Viking's 38
Saints 24
Culpepper to ?, only God knows at this point!

The bucs suck but the vikings, up by 21, have to go to OT to beat houston?

    Yeah, the vikings rock!

    /sarcasm off
  • The only saving grace for this sorry excuse for a football team is their soft schedule. They still have to play Chicago, San Fran, San Diego and Arizona. Of those, they may win one or two, so a 3-13 season sounds about right. Top 5 draft pick for sure.

phreaky...yeah ask the Jags how soft the Chargers are! ohh and ask the Vikes about blowing out
the Bears...opps nevermind they didn't...oh and while you are asking Vikes fan ask them about the
    Cards late in the season!

    Ring count:
    Bucs 1
    Eagles/Vikes 0

And when are you going to grow a pair and pick a team?

  • I already told you I'm a Seahawks supporter. Man, you've got the attention span of an ADD-afflicted chimp.
  • Let me refresh your memory: LINK

...in which you declare that the Seahawks are a "pretend team"... although oddly they beat your sorry-ass team, so what does that say about them? Enjoy the afterglow of that ring... '85 Bears mean anything to you?

    Couple things on the seahawks:

Who let the rams score 17 points in the final 5:30 of regulation, then lost in OT last week?

Who has more rings, hawks or bucs?

    Ok, continue.

  • Alexander's Rings : 0
    Shaun King: 1

    Enough said....
Bucs are still better than them! I'm ready for their meltdown. They will be shown as pretenders.

Hey, no excuses. The Hawks choked big time. But it's not like they were going to go undefeated this season. Seattle is a young team, and I'm chalking this up as a valuable learning experience. Better to choke in Week 5 than Week 17.

I think the the Hawks are going to surprise some people in Foxboro tomorrow. The Bucs won't be surprising anyone in St Lou.

Seriously Bucs fans, how will you team finish this year? You've seen my prediction above. Do you really think this team is going to make the playoffs or even finish at .500? Put your prognostication skills to use and tell us how many games you're going to win this year?
  • Dang them Sain't, If they hadn't scored that last touchdown I would have predicted the final score perfectly.

when the Saints can score at will against or D you know you are bad! Moss is hurt and you know these
other scrubs aren't going to keep scoring. Congrats on once again out shooting a bad team!

  • hey joe heres a sad stat

    Bucs Total Offensive TDS= 4

Culpepper Tds in this game= 5

Bucs Total INTS- 4( as much as your td production)

Randy Moss TDs- 8( 2x that of the entire bucs team)

Marcus Robinson TDS- 5( 1 more then your entire team)

Vikings wins this year 4( more than the bucs will get all year)

    Don't forget:

    rings owned:

    Bucs 1
    Vikes 0

    times punking the Eagles:

    Bucs 2
    Vikes 0

times choking in the big game:

    Bucs 0
    Vikes too many to count

ahh well you win that one!

  • hey joe you gonna keep holding onto that one ring eh? all i can say is FLUKE. Thats all it was and you guys have showed it. Where you at now?
  • joestalinjoestalin Posts: 12,473 ✭✭
FLUKE??? We didn't even have a close game in the playoffs! Name me one team and the year that
a team went through the playoffs CLEARLY better than their competition? San Fran, Philly, Raiders, we
took them all behind the wood shed, we even hung 38 on your sorry team that year.

You must be a history buff because your living in the past! Do you realize there's a new NFL season going on right now? You may not want to look as your team ain't doing so hot.

BTW, answer the question, so by choke you thought the seahawks would win today over the pats?

Funny that those who support teams without rings say 'that's in the past', where if the situations were reveresed, you know they'd be bringing it out.

Vikes own the record for super bowl losses yes? And the seahawks, have never been right?

    That's what I thought.

Stinkin' Tampa Bay on Monday Night Football? Who the f**k at ABC scheduled this game? It was obvious that Tampa Bay was gonna suck this year. Joestalin must have "photographs in lingerie" of the Monday Night Football program director, and threatened to release them unless his beloved Bucs were on a Monday Night game.

    stevek-

    who do you like again?

As far as this game, the bucs and rams game are *always* great games...some of the best MNF games in recent history have been bucs/rams. I'll never forget the game where shaun king lit up the rams for a huge win...amazing game.
  • And I'll never forget the Monday night game when the buc's were up by like 30 some points and Keyshawn was talking trash about Marvin Harrison, and the colts came back and whooped them. Poor Keyshawn still hasn't learned to keep his mouth shut, and the buc's still suck.image

  • 2323, One of my favorite MNF games too!

    ABC (another bucs choke) football

    My favorite quote...

BUCS: Now this team looks good! Major improvments on offense and they same great D that we have all
watched murder your favorite team for years. Sure we will miss Lynch but we have others. Sapp is gone and
good riddance! Rice will be pitching up tents in the opponents back fields! We will rule again this year like we
    did in 02.

  • HA HA! I also love that quote. Did you notice in his smack thread that every team had problems except the Buc's. Major improvements on offense, yeah right. Still the same unproductive offense they've always had. Defense is ok, not as good as 2002. There's that year again, now he's got me doing it.image
