The only problem with that is in 27 years, I have only seen a handful of circulated 85-CC Morgans. You may need to keep a lookout for a 62, some 62s can be very nice looking and probably closer to your budget.

Thanks for the info. I'm just starting out collecting Morgans. I always believed that eye appeal is more important than the grade. For circulated silver coins I look for an even gray color w/ no problems (NGC PCGS cert).
Barry: It's s very nice looking 1885-CC, which may make PCGS MS-64.
Some of the CC Morgans in those old PCI Green Border Label holders with the "PQ" designation, will upgrade at least one point using today's more lenient grading standards for CC Morgans.
