red backs vrs. black backs
are the redbacks more desirable/more scarce/worth more?
are all cards in the issue available in red and black backs?
any help would be appreciated.

i ain't often right
but I've never been wrong
it seldom turns out the way
it does in the song
once in a while
you get shown the light
in the strangest of places
if you look at it right

The first series (cards 1-80) were initially printed with BLACK backs with the 1st print run. The 2nd print run was also with BLACK backs, but corrected the Sain and Page errors plus several color variations were changed. The 3rd print run moved to the RED backs. It is not clear whether the RED back printings were with several runs or one big run. SMR has the RED backs with a 20% premium, and from my experience, I agree with that assessment.
All other series (2nd thru 6th) had RED backs and no BLACK backs.
Hope that helps, Ron Hobbs, Tallahassee, Fla
