Anyone see one of these yet?

1995 1c This is pretty cool for a modern error.....kinda similar to the "BIE" of the 50's

  • You photos are getting better! You must be practicing image
  • Getting there..... This coin is so clean (minus the 3 carbon spots) that it was easy to pick a point on the coin and focus it.

I found a ton of those while searching for the DDO. In fact, my first eBay auction ever was for a set of three 1995 cents, one each with an "IIB", "BIE", and "EIR" die break. I found so many that I eventually stopped saving them.

I heard a rumor that someone was working on a book of BIE cents, similar to the CUD book, but I've never seen anything in print. As major modern errors get scarcer, I wouldn't be surprised to see these come back in popularity.
