    Sooooooo,

    Who's the Daddy ??
  • I don't post, I repeat, I don't post when I am watching the game. I don't have a pre-game BIG MOUTH like Curt Baby either. LOL

how can yankee fan come on here when they almost choked this one away? Their best pitcher runs out
of gas, their relievers sucked and they had to put up 10 runs to beat a team they were blowing out through
6! What a joke, be lucky you got those calls from the ump!

Matsui aint picking up any gold gloves any time soon!
    LMAO

If your pitching staff starts its ace and gives up 7, what are you going to do with your other poor pitchers
    when they start?

the team I root for doesn't have a trillion dollar payroll! These guys get paid big bucks to win..the blew it
and Matsui is a causality out there in the field.

    Was the ump Torre's brother?

It is quite amazing to see any bragging after that one - another inch or two and David Ortiz ties the game with a 3 run HR rather than only a 2 run double. This, after your pitcher is throwing (and then blowing) a perfect game through 6 innings, up by 8 runs! It would have been the biggest come from behind win in playoff history in over 75 years, instead, it just sets the table for tommorrow.

Funny how the chanting at the stadium stopped cold in the seventh inning.

The Yankees and fans silenced the BIG MOUTH. All that matters is that the Yankees won against the great Schilling. I told my Red Sox compadre at work, who is going tomorrow's game with me, that a Yankee win tonight would be HUGE, and it was.

He may own some socks, but own the Red Sox? Jon Lieber?? Come on, surely you jest.

The comments Schilling made were probably ill-advised, but I wouldn't be suprised to see a healthier Curt come back strong and make an impact in this series before its done.

Remember, the MFY's lost game 1 last year, and won the series.

Lieber, 3 Hits, 1 Run through 7 innings. Lieber OWNS the Sox. The Sox are Lieber’s children. On September 18th, I was at the 14-4 drubbing of Boston when Lieber pitched a perfect game through 7 innings. Two in a row ain’t no accident (pardon the incorrect grammer, I did it for effect. LOL). Wow, Lieber and Mussina have something in common…they both amost pitched perfect games against the Almighty Sox.

Mussina, Game 1 ALCS: Perfect Game through 7 innings against the Sux.

Yeah, I guess the Yankees starting pitching really does suck.

Gemmy is safe at home.! Yankeemeister called it.
Proud of my 16x20 autographed and framed collection - all signed in person. Not big on modern - I'm stuck in the past!
  • The Yankees don't talk smack as the Red Sox do. The Yankees know how to win the Red Sox don't.

This series is over. The big question now is: Will there be a Game 6 in NY?

Gemmy congrats on your new baby. Remember, Father knows best! image
