Die Clash

I was wondering how common this was on modern coins? like a 2001 dime? I was going thru some mint sets
I came across this dime and it has the outline of the upside down head on the reverse. And theres also some writing on the obverse

It's never *too* common, but it always happens. No real premium for the most part. But I always think they are cool. Especially when they are quite bold.
  • I don't know if this is considered modern or not, but a neat die clash thru debris, all the same.

Remember it's not how you pick your nose that matters, it's where you put the boogers.

Die clashes are still seen, even on moderns. Here is a quick pick of a 04 Lincoln clash. No real premium.

Here's a 70 D Lincoln cent with the same kind of clash.

Hard to see from the image. There are three columns in front of Lincolns bust and two partial columns behind him.
