1972 P- TYPE # 2 IKES.....

This coin is almost gone, as far as finding un-circulated coins at shows and dealers. more and more dealers are asking premium prices for un-circulated coins.
The majority of coins that will be certified in the future will be au-58
and lower !! ( Just like the buffalo 5 cent piece )

    Congrats to whoever made it! That's one TOUGH coin to find.
    A few in PCGS MS65 have already sold for $3,500 this year!image

  • Yeah this is a tough coin to get.
    I got lucky and was able to get one slabbed myself.
    I tried to buy one on a number of occasions, but several people are "hxll bent" on trying to corner the market and hoard
    every one they can get.
    So far it does seem to look like less than 300 coins is all there is left to get, probably less than 200 actually.

    You are right !! the prices for this coin have more than doubled in less than 3 months !! They have nowhere to go but UP !!!!!
