Some recent south american pieces

I don't often find a diverse selection of decent SA pieces in this area of NY so I tend to accumulate a few new ones before I image them.
My photography is not that good tonight and I apologize-probably not a lot of patience after having to work on a holiday and seeing no customers.

Brazil 1907-I did not do justice to this coin when imaging it.

Columbia 1968-Not a difficult coin to find I would guess but I understand you don't see them often.

Guatemala 1946-Other forum members have posted this series and in better condition than this but the price was right.

Dominican republic 1961, believe it or not my first coin from this country-first one I found in a condition I liked.

Peru-1792, a well worn fine but attractive nontheless...

    Nice. image

Oldshep- I love the lettering style on the reverse of that 2-centavo in your first link- think I've said it before. Neat coin.

Great coins! I've really gotta get a Spanish colonial coin one of these days...

As for S American coins in general, I've found that certain coins from Peru can be really nice in their relief and luster.. nice prices too! image
  • Very pretty coins, Laurent and Shep! image I took six years of Spanish in high school and college, so I have special affection for these coins image
