No hoopla this time around?
Is it old hat,or has the competitive
nature of the registry fallen to the
wayside?
Are participants are just focusing
on what they can accomplish without
concern,or desire of a little reward?
Regardless, best of luck to the 2004 top dogs.

its an honor, just to be nominated !!
johnny bench master set.
see ya, lee
There seems to be a lot of new entrants on the Registry - so I think some people are registering around now, perhaps with the awards in mind. A 1956 Topps set with a set rating of 8.90 was recently registered, for example.
At this point - I think many people are either on the Registry - or intend to stay off.
Also - my personal thoughts are that the more evolved set registry participants probably in general care less about getting a specific award and more interested in forming camaraderies with those who share similar collecting interests.
Cheers-
Marc
