Pre-2001 Ichiro Collection?

With his recent record-setting season, Ichiro has really made a statement, at least to me. While collecting even all his 2001 rookie cards is a large and expensive challenge, and keeping up with his basic releases is difficult at best, PSA has graded many Japanese Ichiro cards and I was thinking this would be an interesting diversion for people who are interested in modern cards. I have no idea how many cards there are (certainly fewer than any single year of US cards), but is anyone besides me interested in seeing a 1993-2000 Ichiro set on the registry?

I've started collecting a post-2000 "basic" set of Ichiro's and as you said, that's tough enough as it is!

Maybe this is something that gets added into his Master set?

I realize that neither a basic nor master set has been created yet (hopefully one has been requested!).
I requested a set to be added a few months ago, but it still hasn't shown up yet! I think the lag time is a few months anyways.

A master set would be cool for this one! I believe they aren't adding anymore sets until after the 31st. Because of the awards.
Ichiro has about 60 cards out there, if you started collecting now. By the time the guy retires you'll be looking at a 1000+ card set...

His Japanese cards are widely collected in Japan. Many key ones have sold in the past few years through auction houses, etc. Would be a fun set - and keep you from focusing on the multidude of American issues not that he is in this hemisphere.
