Yes, that's HK-20, a so-called dollar. It was struck to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. It was struck at the mint exhibit at the US Centennial Expo in 1876, Philadelphia, PA. They only made a couple of thousand of the silvers, at most, and 7000 of the bronze medals (incl. Gilt medals).
VERY cool item. I am going to bid!

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

Cool medal!
for someone who's so inclined as to collect coins/medals dedicated to the Celebration of American Independence, there's a neat way to go about it. there are restrikes of Continental Dollars available to commemorate the origin of America followed by the granddaddy of all SC$'s, HK-1, which celebrated 50 years of Independence. then there's this medal at 100 years and the Sesquicentennial from 1926 with a topper of coins from 1976.
variety, variety!!!!
