Another 75 Topps Blyleven ebayed

Well another 75 Topps Bert Blyleven went down for $160 and change. My all time favorite card, just keep pushing that pop report up so I can score one in $50 range for a 9, even though my 8 is really a gem. I think last one went down for about the same coin a few months back. For the longest time the pop was 2 , now it's doubled to 4 in PSA 9.............

Don't worry, it'll drop. There are only a half-dozen or so collectors in the 75 market that are willing to go three figures for a weight-1 9, and they mostly have theirs now. Look at the price drop on the recent McEnaney 9s. $213 one week, $125 the next. I don't know what the pops are, but I think that card's much tougher than Blyleven, seeing as most of the #481 8s I've seen were pretty ugly, and while he's a common player compared to Blyleven, he's a Big Red Machine cog (or sprocket).

I don't recall who said it first about whom, but to paraphrase, McEnaney is best described as a hubcap on the Big Red Machine...
