PAoutdoorsman items

I've been contacted to purchase a high dollar item at my top bid price which was less than 50% of the winning bid price. Anyone still believe that there isnt or should I say wasnt a problem here? You dont get something for NOTHING, or at least a whole lot less than it should be. Has anyone received there items yet?

  • Gaspipe,

ONLY do a cash in hand transaction on this.

Although I never purchased anything from him,
there are many people on this board who would help you out.

In other words, find out where this guy can meet.
Make an announcement on these boards that you
need to find someone who lives near him to do the deal.

I contacted a friend in Ontario to meet a guy who
had a card for a guy in Missouri. The guy in Missouri
didn't trust the seller from Ontario. So my friend
met him and it worked out nicely.

I just heard a story of how a guy got
    stiffed for 17,000.00 from crazycanuck.
There are PLENTY of crooks out there.

    gaspipe26...

I won a 1980 cut card case from this guy and came within minutes of sending him a money order... Then the bottom fell out from these auctions. Not only did eBay boot him, they also sent me an email requesting me NOT to send this seller ANY money, and if I did, to try to get the funds back any way I could. Real shakey...

I half way beleive there might be some product there..."MIGHT BE"... There was just too many auctions "with" pictures not to believe that there could maybe be something there...I just don't know..???...

I would suggest a face to face meeting. As I remember, he is out of PA., I think... There are plenty of banks around that offer a safe enviorment for the buyer and seller.

Looks like your after a pretty high dollar item(s). Be safe my friend...

what is the email that you received the offer from? This scam was going around a while ago when you would be contacted by another user witha similar id and email but it is 1 letter off.
