Thanks to Outlaw, I just picked this one up..
I've owned them all the way down to FN15 or so, but never this low, problem free!

surprising that the coin circulated for so long.. the vast majority of Isabellas are in AU/cleaned condition.

  • Very Cool!!

I've always wanted one of those, in just about any grade, but they tend to be expensive.

    Pat,

Nice pic...took me longer to find one than it did to let it go...image

I guess it's the joy of the hunt.

    Cheers,

  • Are you going to leave it like that or wear it down more? Very nice Isabella, BTW.

Outhaul, this whole time I've known you I've read your handle as, "outlaw".

Interesting story (and I hope I'm not speaking out of turn here): Outhaul was offered about $75.00 more for the coin from a Dealer at a show shorty after we had finalized our deal. He could have easily just blown me off and sold it out from under me. He chose not too. He is a man of his word.
Again, I don't want to embarrass him but thought that is noteworthy. He's one of the good guys!

If the coin ever needs to leave its orbit between the two of you -- you know who to call. Seriously.

Thanks, Pat, for the kind words. I personally feel that there is nothing to be gained from stiffing one to make a buck off of another and I'm certain I'm not the only one on this forum who feels this way.

I know you'll get as much enjoyment out of the coin as I did hunting it down.

    Cheers,

    Bob
