    You'd have to post scans to get any real "value guesses", as I'm not sure what "solid condition" implies.
    I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

    raw = $175

    NGS = $350

  • koby your response was a big vague. 175 for both or for one?

    or was this a joke?

  • I think one of my greatest pet peeves is when someone lists a card on ebay and puts something like BV $250!!!! in the title and it's in vg condition and actually "books" for like $30.

    That's up there with not listing or mentioning the psa qualifyer.... or spamming the 4 top grading companies when you are listing a card graded by a relatively unknown or shabby company.

    As for your cards... it's all about condition and centering as well.
    post a scan.. I might be interested in the Mantle myself.

    Not to reopen a can of worms ... ah hell, where's the can-opener. Are you the same bigcollector222 who is starting a grading service and grossed $1.5 million at age 15? If you're that guy, uh, I'm wondering if "Solid" is a grade you plan to print on your holders.

    If you're just a new collector who needs help, seriously, "solid" and "excellent" are in the eye of the beholder. You'd be better off to get them graded (by somebody else). Regardless of the grade, as long as it's a respectable company, they'll sell for more than raw. Unless they're trash cards, the investment will be worth it.

    Hi bigcollector222
    This is a picture of my pet dog BarryBonds - the first is before we 'trained' him the SF Bonds way - after the 'training period' he's looking pretty "solid" - why have I brought this up? Hell if I know? And oh, one more thing: BarryBonds can roll over in 27 different languages!

  • ldferg,

    The 1969 set is the only one I have on the registry so I have been recording the eBay sales on a spreadsheet since January 1st. It's time consuming but it keeps me from blowing my budget.

  • lol!! That had me rolling stone nice one.
