Anyone ever have a paypal pmt not.......

show up on your front page or your My Ebay selling page? I was just contacted by a buyer wanting to know where their coin was at and if I had shipped it out. I told them No, normal business is get paid first then ship. They sent me their transaction number from paypal. I looked again and no payment.

After several minutes on the phone with paypal (10 minutes with their menu and another 10 waiting for a live person ) I found the payment. The only place it showed up was in the "All Activity" link on the Account page. My items sold showed no payment had been made and the front page showed no payment, heck even Ebay showed the item hadn't been paid for. All is well now and I now know how to dig a little deeper in paypal to find payments!

I had this happen once as a buyer. The seller had great feedback and his explanation was apologetic and I believed him.

I haven't had that problem. Then again, I always go to the paypal.com site directly to confirm the payment was made.

So do I! It wasn't there. On the site when it comes open to your Account page and shows your recent activity the payment was not there. At the top there are links that takes you to "All Activity" "Items Sold" and "Items Won"

The payment only showed up in the "All Activity" manager and in nothing else.

I had that happen to me where it didn't show up on my e-bay, and after a few days I thought it was odd I didn't get any payment via paypal. So then I went to paypal and saw that people had been paying. OOPS! So I check paypal all the time now too.

I tried that! They told me No, they helped me find the payment that was all they could get involved in!

Payment was made 09-30. At least the buyer says they understand.

Yes - if they send a PayPal without using the eBay auction number.
