Using Brasso To Remove Scratches From Slabs?

I was just reading this hint on Larry Whitlow's site, and I'm wondering if anyone's tried it on slabs. How bout on cell phones? other clear plastic like watches? pdas?

btw, Brasso is a brass polish

If you're talking about the watch crystal, it'll only work on cheap ones. Sapphire crystals are too hard.

I use Brasso to clean light scratches on my slabs. It won't do anything for deep ones though. Don't know about using on other plastics.

For those who want the gum residue from where labels were removed on your slab, Peanut Butter will do the job. Just a tad and rub it in, then wipe with several wet paper towels.

I bought some Scratch Away from a board member which works well for removing scratches from slabs. Brasso is very good too and I still have that and will use it up when I run out of Scratch Away. Goo Gone is by far the finest product for removing label/sticker residue from slabs. It even has a pleasing lemon scent I've found many uses for it around the house and recommend it highly.

For scratches someone mentioned toothpaste recently, actually works pretty well. I put on a coat of car wax after which helps more and allow better photos.
