Masters of Deceit

I was listening to a Bob Dylan album last night and this just kinda jumped into my head.
For what it's worth I'll share it here.

Masters of Deceit

Come on you Doctors of coins,
You who sell on E-bay,
Your coins are all mint-
At least that’s what you say.

I say they’ve been cleaned,
Polished ‘till they shine.
Well the coin that you’re selling
Will never be mine.

I want my coins pure,
Complete with the dirt
From centuries of use,
It really won’t hurt.

And if they do shine,
Still mint from great care,
I’d better see luster,
It’d better be there.

Well you play with your images,
Creating great toning,
But when I receive your coin
Your deceit has me moaning.

Luster that’s dull,
Blue that’s actually grey,
I’m returning your coin,
That’s all I can say.

And I’ll post the results
On a forum I know,
And you’ll be chased from the biz-
you've earned this quid pro quo.
