How can I determine the value of this set, and of individual coins? Most were purchased around 1971 and are in mint condition.

I believe the Franklin Mint Sets are the ones that have the medals made of .925 Sterling Silver, with a weight of each medal around an ounce. You may be able to get 2500.00 for the set on Ebay, if the medals are in fact made of Silver...
