What a sad story. It is regretable that he was not able or had the chance to blow the perp's head clean off. Every local coin dealer I know here has at least two handguns; one under the counter and one in the back room.
I truly hope that the perp is found, I truly hope that he resists, and I pray to God Almighty that he dies slowly.

Total bummer. The SVDB with the woodgrain discription is helpful. Too bad they didnt list a grade. The biggest drawback to CU people being able to watch is the amount of time that has passed. It's unlikely that the perp still has the coins....

They sure do!!! Matter of fact, it's the only state I know of that allows death by firing squad.

The guys that run one of the coin shops in a less-than-great part of my city wear their sidearms right on their belts. They look as if they know how to shoot straight, too, and wouldn't hesitate to prove it.

St. George is a picturesque city of some 50,000. Populated by mostly LDS (mormons) it is a very safe city with very little crime. The city has grown so rapidly that maybe that small town feeling is gone. I went to Dixie college back in 1989 and I had to leave because the city was soooo slow. LOL

Makes me sick to my stomach to think about that man and his family. What a waste.

Hopefully he will get the firing squad. Thanks for the reminder. I had almost forget that Utah still practices the firing squad. I recommend a .308 to the groin area for him.
