I have met some really nice folks here, and if so many of you are considered "Experts" and So full of Expertise, you would at least for the most part, take a minute to look and at least offer or render an opinion? seems like a waste of time when you do post, and you get nothing, Everybody seems so caught up in their own "Click" and you can bash my opinion, but we all know about opinions? Guess everyone has them, Begining to see why so many have left.

I think the board 'experts' have been 'worn down' lately by the bashing threads and are taking a short break.
<< <i> Can you be a little more specific in your whining? >>
Then there's Russ. Always predictable in his responses. He never takes a break from his informative and helpful responses to posts.

So what do you want to know? I'll cheerfully give you a free opinion.

Actually, I do have a matched set. Do you?

Then you posted this thread 4 minutes after posting the quarter thread, I think you need to be patient a while longer, before
someone comes on that knows about quarters.
It's still normal working hours for most folks.
it is an interesting quarter though, do you have any better closeups of the parts in question?
When you see more than 5 words from him it's almost a shock
He and i have gone a few rounds and i've learned his personality a little bit. Overall he's a very knowledgable guy and a benefit to this mad house.
There's a couple more posters who are genuinely grumpy nasty people. Stick around long enough and you'll figure out who i might be referring to
Give us an example of what post you're referring to and i'm sure someone will be more than happy to offer advice or help.

<< <i>It may seem like you are on the road to nowhere or going off the rails on a crazy train, but a great deal of time the usual forum you looking at me looking at you is simply misunderstood as neglect. I don't know what revelation you are seeking or how quickly, but I'll take a shot in the dark and say you haven't given it enough time. >>
Bwuhahahahahahahahaha.......
<< <i>Gee, Russ, then your twice the A$$ than i figured. >>
Gee, that's a really bright way to get help.
Hey Ozzy, did it ever dawn on you that forum members have things to do other than monitor tese forums? I think Russ' advice was spot on the money. You could have just re-stated your question here. It's entirely possible that your post was buried and anybody who could have rendered advice had seen it yet.
You'll find the folks on the forum very eager to help. There are some serious experts here.
Oh, and by the way...it's "clique", not "click".
Cheers,
Bob
I can get over people not starting a new sentence with a cap, or even minor screw ups here and there, I AM BY NO MEANS PERFECT, but try to use better puncuation.
EDITED TO CORRECT MY SPELLING.
<< <i>No offense meant here and I have replied to several of your threads, but proper puncuation would possibly help in getting an answer. Please learn how to use the comma. You do not need to use it after every several words as in this thread you made. If you would like someone to proof read your threads before you post them, please PM me and I will gladly make the required changes for you.

It's "punctuation."

Correct. This goes to show my point that I am not perfect.
People say often say that there is a clique here. Maybe there is, maybe there is not. Like any other social situation, people of like mind and attitude will generally find each other and befriend each other.
You are a newcomer here. Coming in, complaining about not having your needs met, using foul language (however it is obscured), and dissing other people here will not endear you to the community. It would be like going to someone's house for a party, complaining that the hors d'oervres were cold and the beer was warm, calling the hostess the slut, and then urinating in the kitchen sink. this behavior would not get you invited back, certainly not to my house.
Frankly, Russ is among the most helpful people here. If you ask a question, and he knows the answer, he is as prompt as anyone else with the reply...and usually you get a witty remark, to boot.
If you feel your time is wasted here, you know how to solve that problem.
Good luck,
Robert

Wow Robert, Even thinking of something like this shows something about you
Just kidding !!
<< <i>This forum is a great place to learn about coins and meet other knowledgeable coin people. If you take the approach of trying to contribute, rather than trying to have your needs serviced, I think that you will find that your questions will be answered.

Well said, Robert. Thank you.
I think I will save this as my standard reply for this situation. I should be able to use it weekly, at least.
If I ever have you over to my house, I will be sure to put covers on all of my sinks.
Have a Great Day!
Louis
I have gone out of my way to help people here when I can via replies to posts, PM's, as well as emails. I've even had two individuals send me their expensive raw coins for my opinions, and I was more than happy to help, so I'm not really sure what you're talking about. Also, there are some people here who's opinions and advice you're better off without
Right on.
You will get what you need here if you work it right.
It ain't no dictionary. It's dealing with folks just like you.

Truthfully, It's not "Whining, it's about Learning, and helping others, Russ, were you born to be like that, or is it just a learned thing, or did you buy it at K-mart? in a matched set, from Martha Stewart?
IMHO, A post like the above certainly doesn't facilitate "learning and helping others".
Personally, I've received more help from people like Russ (and many others) than I could ever relate here. This is a COIN forum, not an EGO forum.
