2004-D Iowa Doubling or Die Clash?

Looks like Double Die? Scan just doesn't do it justice, on the Obv. IGWT looks fatter, The first A in AMERICA, and
LIBERTY looks somewhat Doubled.

On the Rev. there is a split in the roof line on the left from the peak down, and some thickening in the, E Pluribus Unum, with some splits in the serif's, Not sure what is struck in the right lower corner of the schoolhouse?

Is this the same one you sent me? If so, newer pic is MUCH cleaner and doesn't show the chatter of the entire roofline like the original one did.

It's not that anybody is ignoring you, it's that most people (here) don't get into the state quarters. I, for one, don't bother looking at them or buying any singles or rolls. Sorry, I can't help.

I am sorry, but it is hard to tell from that picture. If you could zoom in, with good deatil, on the area(s) of interest, it would be most helpful in analyzing.

Sometimes MD looks a lot like a true doubled die. Here is a pic of a proof state quarter that shows MD

In this case, I have 3 sets showing the exact same doubling.

I can't see any doubling, although there would be a possible die clash. Like MICHAELDIXON said, there aren't too many in this place that collect the state hood quarters. Maybe you should set up a thread on who collects them, that way you'll have a list of all the people who do, so you can PM them your questions or comments. That would be a great idea. I would do that with cwt's but I can count them all on one hand.

Sorry no help here. All I do is spend the state quarters. Collecting them seems like a waste of time.

It's not a question about State Quarters. It a Friggin coin for Christsakes, it's about people being considerate and demonstrating a little common decencey , it has something that many of you have in common, it's round, and probably worth more than some of you. at least its mine, maybe i'll pitch the damn thing in a wishing well, and get my wish..............more than i can say for some of the high priced crap you pay for., i just got it in change. speaking of change,

You had some helpful replies here. Your scan is not large enough for anyone to tell, and people told you that. There are people who might be more helpful for your question, and people told you who. Not everyone has time to read/answer every thread.
