    Edited to add:
Just like 90% of the good things that happen around here, Jeremy Katz deserves 90% of the credit.

    Classy, indeed.

Did Jeremy create that site? He started out making one for me, but it never really got off the ground, mostly to my own lack of attention to the issue. Perhaps one day I'll be ready to do it again, when my "Digger's Diary" concept gets further along.

  • Robert,

Great web site. I like the way it's laid out and easy to read with the black and gold contrasts.

The pictures are kind of washed out ? Hard to see any of the details on the coins i briefly looked at.

Maybe photo them with a darker (black) background ?

    Nice site tho !! image

  • Great looking site Robert - are you going to take more pics of your coins?

Very nicely laid out website...with a ton of nice coins too. I especially like the 1839-O Classic Head Quarter Eagle. The mintmark on the obverse is really neat on these coins. I hope to add one to my collection one day.

    Frank et al.

I stink at coin photography but work on it when I get the chance. I am far better at buying coins than photographing them. Any schmoe can buy a good coin...it takes real talent to take good photographs. Since 95% of my collection is at the bank, it will be a while before the photography is complete. I am considering bringing my camera to the bank and spending the day photographing coins. Is that a ridiculous idea or what?

Wow that is a very impressive site. Yes, the photos are essential because even young golden indian hunters like myself drool at the descriptions of CC gold, charlotte gold, fractionals and just the descriptions set me off. Man, I gotta go buy something!

Very nicely done RYK. Good luck!
