I couldn't resist!

Hell, the Chargers won yesterday and I can't remember the last time we didn't have a losing record (still don't have
a winning record, but such is life as a Charger fan) going into week five so I'm in a splurging mood. Saw this nice
red looking Indian on ebay and just had to pull the trigger. Comments appreciated, probably overpayed but I've
also been driving to San Diego the last 17 years to watch mediocracy.

  • Hi,
that holder looks red as well....image after looking, all the scans they show are "red" ..perhaps they need a new scanner? Everything is pink including the slab inserts!

I confirmed their return policy and it's a 7 day no questions aksed time frame so if they
are expert photofrauds I'll call the FedEx man. I'm working on taking pictures with my digital
camera so I will post pix soon. Thanks for listening.

    Hi,
I wasn't meaning to imply any bad intent on the part of the seller - just making an observation after looking at the list of auctions they are running.

Very nice (I was watching that one as well). I bet you'll like it.

  • Go Bolts!! I'm probably the only Charger fan on the entire eastern seaboard. It gets lonely for me sometimes being surrounded by Giants, Jets and Eagles fans all the time. image

Looks nice!! image I have done business with that seller. Decent items, average shipping time. No complaints here.

If you only buy when the Chargers win, you'll have a lot of money saved up between purchases. image

Try finding a 63RD IH that's as well struck, contact-free and frosty as that one. From the images it looks like a gem that PCGS knocked down 2 or 3 points due to the light but numerous stains, mostly on the reverse. All of this seller's pics have a pinkish tint to them, it's likely a more natural looking red in person. Let us know what you think when it arrives.

As a lifelong Jet fan I can relate to your plight, we've been waiting for something to cheer about since 1969!

After taking another look at the images of this coin, trying to figure out why it didn't grade 64RD, I see what may be a planchet flaw or gouge in the cheek just to the right of the mouth. If I'm right it's cleverly disguised by the lighting/angling of the photo. That would make the severe deduction in grade easier to understand.

Great looking coin, and don't worry about the pink tinge to the label. That's a white balance issue and not any attempt to change the appearance of the coin.
