Let the fun begin!

I just picked up a loose 1970D 50c from the coin shop in MS64 for $15.00. It's going to eventually be a P01 if I have anything to say about it (or as close as possible). I think it's already down to MS60 with all the fingerprints and pocket nicks that I've given it.

As one who is doing this (with another series), let me assure you of one thing -- The fun is going to last a LOOOONG time.

Wearing down coins in your pocket takes many years to have a lot of effect.
    When in doubt, don't.
  • I'm aware that for the coin to be a pocket piece, it's going to take a long time.

    BUT!

I have a TOP SECRET method that ensures gradeable PO01 coins in just a month.

If this works, PLEASE tell me about it. I ran out of patience on my Morgans last year!

They wear slowly, very slowly. Gives you a good feeling for how many pockets and bags worn coins went through.
