Are 40 of these really worth $18 + ??

I put in a small bid and was watching this auction to see where it ended up. Thought it might be cool to put them in my 10 yr olds piggy bank.
Checked on it today, it has about 40 minutes left, and was kind of shocked at where the price is.

Here's a Link to the auction.

Is this in line with the claimed grades ?

  • For AG-G coins I don't think it's right, but the value of anything is determined by the market. Someone obviously feels they are worth more than you do. It may be an arts and crafts person looking for Buffs to make jewelry who can still make a profit at those prices.

Current grey sheet on avg. circ. Buffalo rolls is $22 Bid and $24 Ask.

Dateless Buff rolls are $5.50 Bid and $6 Ask.
    When in doubt, don't.

A little high, IMO, but if most of them have even a partially readable date, and most of them really are in the teens and twenties, it's not ridiculously out of line.
