While it would be nice to give away a coin from the Garrett Collection, that is obviously unrealistic. I do, however, have a duplicate copy of the Garrett I Catalog (Bower and Ruddy, 1979), which includes patterns, lower denomination gold through half eagles, early copper, half dollars, and territorial gold, amongst other issues. In order to be entered into this contest, one must only post a picture of a Liberty Seated coin and a name will be randomly (using an internet random number generator) to receive this historic catalog on Tuesday evening 11 PM Central time. Stuart is obviously excluded because he wins everything here (just kidding, Stuart, please enter ).
It has been often said here, and repeated by me, that numismatic literature is the best value in coins.
