Latest (and maybe last for this year) type set additions (20 cent and Bust Quarter)

Latest additions to my Dansco type set. The 20 cent has nice even wear with almost a gold tone to it. I've already cracked both of them out and will update my album pics. On my budget, both of these holes were tough to fill.
Four more album holes to fill: 2 large cents (Draped Bust and Classic Head), Capped Bust Half reeded edge, and Seated dollar with motto.
I'm probably done with any major purchases this year, unless I can find a nice XF Bust Half. My plan next year is to spend most of my effort (and budget) looking for nice examples of the 2 large cents and the Seated dollar. We'll see if I can stick to it.

Oh Bill, I noticed you don't have your Morgan set in your signature line anymore. I really liked looking at them. I think that set was nice, the way you selected your $'s, the original surface and such.

Sad to say, but I broke it up to fund my type set. The Morgan set was fun to put together, but it was just "sitting there", if you know what I mean.
Thanks for the comments.
Do you keep the slab labels? I paper glue mine to the back inside cover of the album....

Those are 4 toughies...I think I had the most trouble finding a decent Classic head LC out of those four.
Keep up the push...you'll love it when you're done !! Then you can start upgrading

Yes, along with the cracked slab.

I've heard that many do this. I can't figure out how you get the label off and glue it to the album. Can you post a pic?
Thanks.
So true about the large cents. I don't know where I'm going to find a nice one.
good luck on the classic cent. a toughie!

I don't have a pic at the moment, but the labels just come right out. They're not glued in or anything...
Masscrew, I'll have to take another look at those labels. I thought they were glued on solid.
Practically the same grades as my old type coins for those two types. I had the 20-cent in ANACS EF45 also (but I think it was a Philly mint coin), and I had the small Bust quarter in a PCGS VF25 slab. Of course, by the time I was buying those slabs, I had moved beyond the Dansco set, and was not cracking them out, but I still fondly remember the Dansco days. They were a lot of fun, and the 7070 album was a blast. (I really enjoyed the complete Irish sets I built in Danscos, too.)
You really should resurrect that type set of yours. I would guess the XF/VF are popular dates for these two types for low budget collectors like me. Next grade up, especially for the Bust is pretty steep.
