Mint Nixes "Gambling Images" On Nevada Quarter

I have seen some of the preliminaries which a board member here created - sorry his name escapes me, but his designs are fabulous. His designs included a couple of playing cards - which are indicative of what people think of when they think of Nevada.

However, any gambling references have been shot down so as not to offend anyone.

Whoever it is who does these, please post your Nevada designs and a link to your wesbite. It's great stuff.

IMO it should be an Ace and a Jack or a mini Morgan Dollar, CC ofcourse.

I remember his posting and he posts here and on RCC.

They better choose Daniel's design--with the mint's current craptacular designs, if they don't, the quarter will (again) SUCK. Daniel's design says a lot, isn't cluttered, and just looks damn good!

Great design. I don't know why cards would offend anyone. As Jeremy referenced, at least it's not prostitutes. That was the Arkansas imitation quarter.
