    I got a thick planchet London Elephant token in a small lot on eBay. I think it had a BIN of $3.50 or so- after shipping, I had maybe five bucks invested. I had already pulled the BIN trigger on the lot (because I wanted some of the holed coins in it), before I even saw the Elephant in the picture. (Typical too-small, too-fuzzy eBay picture).

    Turns out I got a genuine Elephant token, and a handful of other neat early pieces besides. The Elephant in question was VG but wounded- it had a couple of deep digs on it. Still one of my better eBay grabs!
