What's 1957 - D =?

Here is the latest in the finds that my son picked out. Has a couple of die breaks but in a very cool way.

Unfortunately, all your pics are too pixelated and out of focus to accurately see just what is in front of the date. Can you get some better shots?
Everything starts and everything stops at precisely the right time for precisely the right reason.
  • It has a die chip that is filling the top of the 5 and a very strong and well separated repunched mintmark to the left of the D and below the 9.

It's not an RPM, it's a die crack. I found a coin from that same die yesterday in a circ bag I was going through. No premium value.
