What coin do you think will be the next 1909 s vdb? By that, I mean...

...a coin that is not really "rare" but becomes so popular its price becomes outrageous.
The 1932-d washington quarter?
Perhaps the new generation of collectors will push the 1950-d jefferson back into a higher price range?
What do you guys think?

I'm somewhat conflicted as to how to respond to that. On the one had, the first part displays a brilliance and wisdom that is to be commended, but that last sentence ...
The coin does have a very cool story behind it and cool stories frequently create popularity. It's scarce compared to the regular variety but, similar to the 1909-S VDB, the supply is ample at somewhere between 100,000 and 150,000 pieces. It also has the added attraction of being extraordinarily difficult in ultra high grade cameo and deep cameo. To date, there are no PCGS graded PR69CAMs or PR69DCAMs, and there will never be a PR70.

1955 DDO lincoln
1916d Dime
1937d 3 leg buff
and I would almost add the '56 Flyer to that list also.
These coins are VERY expensive and usually 1 or more of them or 1 of each can be found at any large show. You can usually run across one of them at small shows too.
