Question about 1879-S Morgan Reverse Types

I have been starting to buy a 1879-S Morgan dollar and have been confused about how many 1879-S reverse types are there. I have seen mention of first, second, and third reverse types and also on PCGS holders Rev. of 1878. My Breen book makes it sound like these reverses are all variations of the Reverse of 1878, is that the case?

Could someone tell me how many reverse types PCGS and NGC recognize on their holders?

All I know of is the reverse of 78 and the reverse of 79. The Vam collectors probably have more info.
