Sent many Morgans off to PCGS anyone care to offer opinions how these 2 may come back?

Starting to send my inherited morgans off to pcgs. Anyone feel like estimating how these two may come back.

I will post the results when I get them back from grading.

    Both should easily make 64.

The pictures are so large that they might be showing things that aren't really obvious under little or no magnification, and if that's the case, there's a shot at 65, particularly with the '84. The neck may be a little too chewed up on the '81 to have a good shot at 65.

The fields on these coins are absolutely gorgeous.

[EDIT to add: To really tell, you may need a smaller picture. To me it appears that the large pictures are exaggerating some of the hits on the cheeks (especially since the fields are so nice). If they are still easily visible with smaller pictures, then these would be more like 63, possibly prooflike as Mark indicated below.]

I suspect that they might be PL, as they appear to show some reflectivity, even without being held at an angle.

MS62PL on the first and AU58 on the second. mike
  • I forgot to mention, these were actually GSA's but the holders were discarded years ago to my great dismay. All that's left are the cards.

    65 & 66, respectively

Those are great pictures and beautiful morgans... good luck...
Always looking for attractive rim toned Morgan and Peace dollars in PCGS or (older) ANA/ANACS holders!
