Has a GSA morgan ever been bodybagged at PCGS or NGC? I am talking about the coin being submitted in the orginal GSA holder.

mintluster are you sure about that? Because I have a 1885-CC with a serious scratch on the face that I think would be bodybagged for the scratch.
I have a hard time believing that no GSA morgans have ever been bodybagged.

PigCGS would probably entomb it in plastic with the scrath, just cause its a CC and take her down a grade/net grade it.....just my hunch

Yes, one of our members submitted two GSAs, in their holders, via a dealer, and at least one was body-bagged for cleaning. IMO the PCGS graders screwed-up! One thing you have to remember is that all the graders see are coins in trays, they don't know how they were sent in or at what service level.
