Does this mean that certification could become more important in collecting Chinese coins? All this talk about fakes has certainly scared me away from them.

HG, maybe you should apply for the NGC World grading position. They were needing someone strong in attribution and authentication........if you have that the grading is a piece of cake.

And yes, it's a sad state of affairs with the Chinese material of late.....

Obviously collecting Chinese coins is not pretty much a dead issue.
Fakes now so outnumber the few real ones, that there is no way to tell anymore.
