wow, lots of scratch for a modern.....................wow.....oh and a big yawn too, its gettin late and I am tired of this toned mess.
Family, kids, coins, sports (playing not watching), jet skiing, wakeboarding, Big Air....no one ever got hurt in the air....its the sudden stop that hurts. I hate Hurricane Sandy. I hate FEMA and i hate the blasted insurance companies.
What an eye opener these last couple of days have been. I had no idea people pay this kind of money for a toned modern commem. I honestly don't know whether to laugh or cry.
<< <i>Does this thread mean you bought that coin at that price? >>
Yes I did. And I'm glad I did. I know full well what a regular MS66 for this coin is listed at. But this isn't a regular MS66. It's the only coin I intend to keep. It's worth every dollar to me. The coin looks so much better in hand also. And if someone ATd it and slipped it past PCGS then they did a damn good job! I'll take another one!! And that's all I know except I was offered more than I paid. (not by much, just round up) $4K
That coin is flat out AMAZING!!! It is worth whatever YOU chose to pay. Personally, I congratulate you for stepping up. I guarantee that every time you take that beauty out of the safety, you will smile!! Great coin.

I personally don't like it at all--looks phony to me, not natural. I guess I don't like toned coins. I prefer blast white.
I showed it to my wife and I had to lock up the check book.
She is ready to buy one.
