Ohhh No, Here We Go Again,**Did I Get Boinked By A Forum Member?**

stmanstman Posts: 11,352 ✭✭✭✭✭
OK, A forum member posted this (you know who you are) and I asked if he was going to return it to PM me a price. Since he couldn't return it due to it being opened, I thought I'd bail him out of this disgrace. At least he didn't shank me on the shipping.

OK, where is the "Boink?" well, I thought I would do a bit of cherry-picking" and since the JFK looked like a rare mint error, I was hoping the other coins were fingerprinted as well. Notice the small scan (his scan) of the rest of the coins. Was he trying to hide the fact that there were no more printed coins?

I'm totally disgusted by all this. Seller, you know who you are, come out, or I will out you.

BUT, I believe I got it close to "Sheet" price though. I was thinking I got a "deal" at the time of purchase.

That is a monster print. The best example I've ever seen on one of these. You should send him more money.

If you paid more than 91c for those, you got ripped.

I suppose it's possible to go cherrypicking specifically to find the ones that are rotten or moldy...

WOW, you guys are hurting my feelings. So I guess I won't pass this one on to my Granddaughter huh? Suppose it would be better to "crack" it out and submit it?

You got ripped big time image

But I gave you a break on the S/H - it barely covered my steak dinner on the way to the post office.

Ha, there he is..... and all this time you led me to believe shipping was .62? I'm gonna go figure this out. Hope the steak (whatever kind you eat) was good. Kitty cat?

Man, how come I bever get the bargains. That's way cool, and I'm working on a set of FP halves still in the mint packaging. I'll give $5 shipped. image It would look great with my 69 set. Maybe one day we can match a set by prints. image

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
