As a result of Hurricane Jeanne's trek through Florida, a number of facilities remain without power or are damaged. Below is the most current information by district. This site will be updated as conditions change.

Special Advisory – Standard Mailers are advised that while recovery efforts continue in Florida and coastal Alabama, mail volumes are much heavier than normal at all Florida plants and the Mobile, AL plant. Service times in these locations may be longer than normal and mailers are encouraged to plan accordingly by allowing an extra 24-48 hours in their mailing cycle. This notice will be removed once conditions return to normal.

The Pensacola facility (ZIP Code 325) will begin gradual return to normal operations later this week. Effective Tuesday, the Pensacola plant will begin accepting drop shipments for Periodical mail. It will open to drop shipments of Standard Mail on Thursday. It is expected that DSAS will open shortly so that mailers can begin to schedule appointments. Drop shipments arriving without appointments will not be accepted.
