Here's another piece of the puzzle --- one that's been a tougher date/mintmark to find toned.
Just picked this one up from Northeast Numismatics -- $150.00, a blast white I think is about a $115-$120 coin.
I have a feeling the luster will make this coin much nicer. They described it as having above average luster when I talked to them. If it does I'll be quite happy. It blows my current example away. While I'm not crazy about this one, it will certainly fill that hole while I wait for a more colorful example to come along -- if one ever does. Oh, by the way its in an older NGC MS63 slab. If there really is nice luster I think she's got a shot @ a 64. The obverse is mark free, I'm just not sure of the strike compared to other 26-Ds.
Now back to the regularly scheduled AT/NT/markup/ethics debate.
Thanks
Michael
