steal of the year

I was at a card store today (I have to try out new ones, since my favorite closed - but not before I bought several hundred pounds of cards, memorabilia, and supplies in their going out of business sale.), and they had dime boxes broken down by teams. There were a fair number of early '80s stars/HOFers in the baseball section, and some scattered even better stuff among football and basketball (including '80s regionals, a few serial numbered rookies, refractors, and star base cards from current year high end sets).
The highlight of my visit was pulling out a '03-'04 Finest Basketball card, and noticing it was a gold color with serrated edges. I then turned it over to see it was a gold xfractor of Steve Blake (Wizards rookie point guard), and it was serial numbered 1/1.
I bought it. I don't think I'll ever find a 1/1 cheaper - especially not of a rookie.
