I received a different one saying due to recent maintenance I needed to verify my personal info. They asked for credit card number , PIN, and the 3 digit security code on the back.

There are two dead give aways on these emails. First, when you forward it to spoof@ebay.com, Mcaffee almost always flags it due to a worm virus. The second is that if you click the link, you can put anything in the user name and password blocks and all the rest of the blocks.

I've received three of those Nigerian scams in the last week. All come from the UK.
