1972-P TYPE # 2 - PCGS MS 64.....

image
A pcgs ms 64 1972-P Type # 2 just sold on ebay for $ 616.00 !!
they have more than doubled in price in the last 12 months !
i have seen my share of type # 2 coins, and i feel that that there are far fewer uncirculated coins coins available than anyone realizes !!!

Sure makes mine look better than it did last week. And it's only a MS53.

Most set owners are glad they purchased this coin early ! as always, key coins in any series go up at a fast rate.
The same will be true for the peg leg business strike, even more so, when it becomes part of the registry. prices for this coin will triple overnight. they are much more difficult than the type #2. i have been looking for them for years, and still only have a few.

Man!image.....and to think I was happy getting $400+ a few short months ago
for a Type 2 in PCGS 64. 'Guess I should have held on a little longer!image

Now, I'm curious as to what the next one in 63 will bring.....$300+?

    Brian,
    you are right !! $ 300.00 to $ 375.00 would be a current realistic price for a ms 63,
