Amazingly, even though the pic is blurry as h e double toothpicks, it looks strikingly similar to the ones offered on late night TV!

It's truly funny, no make that truly sad, that people in this day and age are so wrapped up in their own little world that they refuse to try and teach someone else the correct or accepted way of doing things.
  • Notice how they say only $19.95 shipping. image
  • where'd he get the $50 retail from? Those are on commercials for $19.95 + s/h
  • Ahh, fixed link.

Your thread title says it all...it is absolutely wrong on so many levels.

What does "government sanctioned" mean here?

It is a classless rip up one side and down the other.

These are the 100 mil pieces of garbage that are advertised by the national collectors mint on cable TV for $19.95 plus shipping and handling. His entire auction is nothing but a repeat of their ad. He's looking to unload this crap and break even after fees.

It is tempting to bid on a suply of silver.

The vultures are still trying to profit from 9-11. grrrrrr.....image
First time I ever heard it refered to as Ground 0. That confused me briefly.
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.
  • >>Comes from small suply of silver found under ground O<< .....More like a never ending supply of silver found under ground O...

  • The freaking sad part about it is the Striesand LP that he is selling he is only asking $3.98 shipping!!!! I thought that it was harder to ship an Lp than a solid piece of metal.

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

  • Isn't this a legal tender of CNMI and not the US ?

Also its just clad with the silver found from ground zero and not pure silver like the SAE

The words for the auction sound like it comes from an inexperienced mafia member of eastern europe.
What is with the image ? I must have glucoma.

  • The vultures are still trying to profit from 9-11. grrrrrr.....

Yup. That's the most sickening thing about his listing. His pathetic photography skills are indicative of his low IQ.

List or starting price for these stands at 49.95. However I was lucky enough to get a Bulk Purchase.

Yes bulk purchae for 19.95 ea from the TV add.

Ebay has now made it very difficult to report activity such as this. They used to have a form, just last week as a matter of fact, where you could report suspect auctions even if you aren't a buyer. Not there this morning.

<< <i>Isn't this a legal tender of CNMI and not the US ? >>

The CNMI is the US. It is an insular territory of the United States, and has no authority to coin money. The NCM is either lying or counterfeiting by claiming it is "legal currency".

I reported the auction to ebay for "excessive shipping," let's see if they pull it.

I don't even think this is a CNMI piece. I haven't seen the TV ad and this seller makes no such claim.
