Coinfreak499, why not edit/change the title of your post so people know specifically what you're trying to find out?

(Edited to add: Something like "What should I expect to pay for a ANACS VF-30 Isabella that is nicely toned?")

That way, those who are willing and able to help will respond, and those who are unable and/or unwilling, won't open the thread. image

I'm not picking on you - I notice that many thread titles are unnecessarily vague and that can do a disservice to both the thread originator, as well as to those who open the thread. Good luck in your search for the answer.

Grey Sheet only lists prices down to XF, which is $355 Bid and $390 Ask.

The spread is very small to AU ($426 and $465), so I'm guessing there is a high basal value level to this coin in any grade.

My WAG at VF -- around $300.
    When in doubt, don't.

Coinfreak, I agree around 300.00, but I would not pay that much for one that was net graded VF-30-maybe around 200.00--------------------------BigE

But is it really VF-30 or *net graded*? The original post didn't say. If it's (for example) a cleaned XF, I agree with you. But $300 sounds ballpark for an original, problem-free VF-30 coin. Though I have trouble imagining an Isabella circulating that much.
  • Nope the coin isn't net graded and the dealer wanted $300 for and I thought that was a little to high a price.

Depends on how much you want it -- but you really like the coin, I think $300 sounds about right for an attractive, problem-free and original VF-30 Isabella. You could probably dicker up to $25 or so either way, but the asking price sounds about right.

I wouldnt pay too much, They are a very hard sell IMO, and I practically had to give mine away to get rid of it.
