PCGS- prices / NGC- pops. Why?

Is this some sort of conspiracy? Why can't I find both prices AND pops for pcgs AND ngc online?

things would be so much easier.

If the NGC prices were figured out (good luck!) and posted, that would be REAL confusing as they would be much different than the PCGS numbers. Much lower in most cases. Besides, then the ebayers who always quote PCGS prices for non-PCGS coins couldn't do so without additional scrutiny.

One inaccurate on-line price guide is more than enough.

  • I like Heritage for prices (both NGC and PCGS) and PCGS for pops (theirs, of course.) I also keep a data base from completed auctions on ebay in the Lincoln wheats. I really don't use Trends or PCGS for prices - too goofy (way low on some, way high on others.) Trends says I can get a 1954-P in 66RD for $35!!! Yikes!!! - PCGS has the 66 at $325 (a bit low, but not too bad).

Heritage archives are my first choice for prices.
